ROES Server - Won't Launch - Uninstall/Reinstall steps

1.  Use the Installer dialogue shown, asking to modify or remove when using the MSI link to remove or go to the Control Panel—> Program and Features and uninstall the ROES Server

- Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features (If Windows complains that it

can’t remove it, continue to the next steps or go to roes help.com article: http://www.roeshelp.com/hesk/knowledgebase.php?article=48 ).

2.  Go to the ‘Folder Options’ and specify to show hidden files and folders.

- Right-click the Windows Logo button and choose Open Windows Explorer.

- Click Organize  or View and find Options, choose Folder and Search Options or Change Folder and Search Options.

- Click the View tab, select "Show hidden files, folders and drives"

-Uncheck the checkbox for "Hide protected operating  system files"

-Uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file types"

3.  Go to and delete the contents of C:\ProgramData\SWROES.

4.  Go to and delete the contents of C:\Program Files\ROES or C:\Program Files (x86)\ROES.

5.  Go to and delete the contents of C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ROES.

6.  Go to C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Temp\ and delete all files that start with

"RWSCleanup" (RWSCleanup.dll, RWSCleanup.InstallState and RWSCleanup files).

8.  Reinstall the ROES Server, using the install link. This will be something like

PC:            http://www.roeslaunch.com/ROES/SAServer/labs/<THELABNAME>/launch.msi

MAC:         http://www.roeslaunch.com/ROES/SAServer/labs/<THELABNAME>/launch.dmg
