Nexus Location - Desktop Template Tool

In order for proper tax to be calculated on a pickup ship method the method

needs a nexus_location. The nexus_location contains the full address of the lab or fullfilment location.

In Template Tool

Open the pickup_nexus.xml by using File, Import Template File. Browse to the modified xml.

Alternatively the xml can be dropped onto the File drop down to load it.

When prompted for a password click ok. The file is not encrypted.

In the opened file expand the template element if needed. Highlight the nexus_location and copy either from the Edit drop down or control/c or command/c.

Open/go to your current template file. Highlight you pickup method. Paste the nexus_location.

Change the values to be the lab address. Do not use any periods or special characters in the address.

The state is 2 digits and the country is always US. The zip needs to be zip+4. You can use this to lookup if needed,

Add to other pickup methods as needed.

Copy the modified nexus location and paste onto other pickup methods.

Save and upload the modified template file.

Check for proper tax on a pickup order.

Alternatively a specific tax rate can be set on any shipping method with the 

"salestax" attribute. The value of 10 would be 10%.
